About Vista Antigua

The planned gated community of Vista Antigua began development in 2007 as a unique blend of individually designed and built homes that honor the architectural and cultural heritage within the city of San Miguel de Allende. The intent was to create a diverse community of artistically built homes, streets, walking paths, common areas, and landscaping that are harmonious and complementary to the surrounding communities. Vista Antigua is conveniently located near the intersection of Libramiento and Independencia, northwest of downtown Centro, just a 15–20 minute walk away. This harmonious community of foreign and Mexican nationals offers a diverse population of outgoing, well-traveled, professionally successful, and well-educated people—everyone with a story to tell about how, above everywhere else in the world, they chose to move to San Miguel de Allende and live here in Vista Antigua.

Our safe, secure, and financially stable community is efficiently homeowner-managed. We employ a very friendly staff of 24/7 guards, gardeners, maintenance workers, and office staff. We have lighted streets, finished sidewalks, and a network of lighted walking trails and open park spaces for individual and community activities. We host diverse and inclusive cultural and seasonal events throughout the year in our common areas. We do all of this with a very reasonable and competitive monthly HOA fee.
